Who We Are

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

ASP 4 His Glory exists to answer God's call by serving U.S. Veterans with compassionate, faith-centered care β€” providing emergency relief, housing support, mental wellness resources, community connection, and spiritual restoration to those who sacrificed everything for our freedom.

Our Vision

We envision a Washington State where no Veteran stands alone β€” where every man and woman who wore the uniform is surrounded by community, supported in their needs, and reminded that their life has eternal value and purpose in the eyes of God.

Our Story

Meet Our Founders

Alan CK Sweet

Founder, President & Executive Director

Alan Sweet's heart for Veterans runs deep β€” it runs through his bloodline. His grandfather, Rea Sweet, answered the call in World War I. His father, Walter Sweet, served with honor in World War II. His brother, Stephen Sweet, served during the Vietnam era. Three generations of sacrifice β€” and Alan carries that legacy forward every single day.

As the Founder and Executive Director of ASP 4 His Glory, Alan brings an unshakable commitment rooted in faith, family, and a firsthand understanding of what it means to come from a family of Veterans. His mission is simple: no Veteran in Washington State should feel forgotten, unsupported, or alone.

Alan is also an AI Automation Specialist and publisher (NRT Music & Book Publishing – BMI), bringing cutting-edge systems thinking to nonprofit operations, ensuring ASP 4 His Glory runs at the highest standard of excellence β€” what he calls the Platinum Standard.

Michelle Sweet

Co-Founder & Director of Outreach

Michelle Sweet is the heart behind the hands of ASP 4 His Glory. A compassionate servant leader, Michelle brings warmth, organization, and relentless dedication to every program, every outreach, and every Veteran family we serve.

Together, Alan and Michelle operate as a unified team β€” their partnership in marriage reflected in their partnership in ministry. Michelle leads our community outreach initiatives, donor relations, and volunteer coordination, ensuring that every person who walks through our doors β€” or reaches us online β€” feels seen, valued, and supported.

"We don't just meet needs β€” we restore dignity."

"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me."

β€” Matthew 25:35

What We Do

Our Programs for Veterans

Every program we operate is designed to meet Veterans where they are β€” spiritually, physically, financially, and emotionally.

Emergency Relief Fund

Rapid-response financial assistance for Veterans facing immediate crisis β€” utility shutoffs, eviction threats, medical emergencies, and food insecurity. No Veteran waits for help when life is on the line.

Housing Stability Initiative

Working alongside local housing partners to secure temporary and transitional housing for homeless and at-risk Veterans across King and Pierce Counties. We connect, advocate, and fund.

Mental Wellness & Spiritual Care

Faith-integrated counseling referrals, peer support groups, and chaplaincy connections for Veterans battling PTSD, moral injury, depression, and isolation. Healing is possible. Hope is real.

Veteran Family Support

We serve the whole family β€” because when a Veteran struggles, the entire household feels it. Spouse support, children's programs, and family crisis intervention are central to our work.

Community Connection Hub

Regular community events, Veteran meetups, volunteer opportunities, and fellowship gatherings β€” because belonging is a basic human need. No Veteran should live in isolation.

Corporate Partnership Program

We partner with Washington State corporations to match Veteran employment, fund program initiatives, and build sustainable pipelines of support. A $10,000 corporate gift can change a Veteran's life trajectory. Contact us to learn more.
